Workshop

Exhibiting an international trade fair is a significant investment for most exporters.  Decisions must be made well in advance and the whole project needs to span over a year or more.  How can you increase your chances of success and achieve your objectives?  The major international trade fairs may have over 2,000 exhibitors.  How can you stand out and attract interest from the companies you want to do business with?

There are three main stages a trade fair:

  1. Stage 1 “BEFORE”: planning and preparation
  2. Stage 2 “DURING”: managing your stand
  3. Stage 3 “AFTER”: evaluating contacts and converting to sales.

You will learn how to plan your trade fair project.  Walk away with an understanding of:

  1. The Keys to Success at an international trade fair
  2. How to define SMART objectives
  3. Selecting the best trade fair based on your selection criteria
  4. How to plan the three stages
  5. Using the trade fair catalogue to build a prospect list
  6. Raising your profile and stimulating interest
  7. One Page Plan.

You will then be able to monitor progress against your main One Page Plan and develop other plans for specific projects.  You will understand the importance of setting very clear objectives, planning well in advance and committing sufficient resources.

Follow up coaching

Coaching is an effective way of reinforcing what you learn at the workshop and helping you to make regular use of the tools. The coaching package provides:

  • Monthly meetings over three months to keep the implementation on track.
  • Weekly remote support by email, Skype or phone to help resolve problems and answer questions as they arise.
